20 Thoughts in 2021

1) Be part of a like-minded group. Applaud different views. Welcome different skills. Build a team mission.

2) Debate. Don’t argue. Share views, opinions. Eliminate heated environments. Agree to disagree, move on.

3) Numbers can’t change you. Cash. Follower count. Assets. Keep your feet on the ground. It can all disappear quickly.

4) If you can’t help for free, you don’t deserve paid work. Help, without expectations. Every action is experience. It somehow pays off.

5) Comparing is nature. Don’t overdo it. Focus on self-motivation, not envy. They aren’t better than you. Never lose confidence. You have the ability.

6) Look backwards to learn. Not regret. Look forward to visualize. Build your game plan. There will be bumps. Find the way.

7) Improving is success. As Henry Ford put it, “No one ever considers themselves an expert if they really know the job”. You aren’t an expert. No stopping. Learn daily.

8) Life is about communities. Search one. Join one. Analyze. Provide value. Climbing the 9-5 is no different to climbing online.

9) Study people. Read through their intentions. Good relationships will skyrocket you. Bad ones will dig you a hole. Decide who needs to go, who needs to stay.

10) Learn from those ahead of you. Let them inspire you. They only started before you.

11) If the spotlight is on you, stay cautious. They will come after you. Give credit to others. Spotlight on them. Victory is not a “one man” game.

12) Set new objectives before achieving your goals. Success can feel empty. Build a never-ending purpose. Avoid “now what?”. Stay alive.

13) Instant gratification does not outweigh emotional pain. Junk food. Alcohol. Material luxuries. Even money in the bank. Search for inner happiness. A meaning to life.

14) You need to work hard. Without forgetting what matters. Your family. Your friends. Your physique. Your mental health. Value all before you lose it all.

15) Read books, while taking action. Street smart vs. book smart. Real life experience beats all. You will figure it out. It’s all timing.

16) Study yourself. Every day. Your emotions. Be in control, as others will see weakness. Note what triggers. Emotional contagion is the new virus.

17) Technology is your best friend. Test. Learn. Make social media your asset. Network. Create more. Consume less. It’s free education.

18) No one has a clue. Everyone learns the go. Including those that have made it. React as you progress. Start. Then look back to say, “I have made it”. You still won’t know how.

19) Less daily decisions works best. Look to automate. Fix processes. Daily habits. Overthinking is synonym of stress. Think less. Focus on importance.

20) Learn to sell. Sell products. Sell your skills. Life is relationships. Master sales. You will never be out of a job.

20 lies that the world feeds us everyday

 Lie 1:

If you don't settle in your 20s, you are gone!
This is the decade.
You don't get another chance.
Study fast, get a job, get married, kids, that car, that house.
Quickly!
Time's running.
Look at everyone else doing it!
Lie 2:
People who are poor are lazy.
People who are rich are hardworking.
It is your fault if you haven't made it in life.
Look at everyone else who made it.
There is nothing granted or gifted in life
Lie 3:
Those in corporate jobs, are unambitious.
They have sold their soul.
They are addicted to the salaries.
They could have done so much more with their life.
But they decided to spend it working for someone else.
Lie 4:
Starting your own business is the surest way of making money.
You can never get rich earning a salary.
You can never get rich working for someone else.
Lie 5:
Your parents are never wrong.
They are wise, they are experienced, they want the best for you.
Plus, they are parents.
They can never mean any harm.
Lie 6:
The world is a bad place.
It is filled with horrors and horrible people.
And we should all be worried, really worried about the world.
Lie 7:
Once you finished studying, you will get a job.
Once you get a job, you will make money.
Once you make money, you will be happy.
Lie 8:
Do one thing and one thing alone in your life.
Only those who focus on just one thing, win in life.
Those who do multiple things in life, are just not focused.
They will never make it in life.
Lie 9:
If you are an introvert, there is a problem.
Go out and meet new people.
Build a habit of introducing yourself first.
Get comfortable with crowds.
The world is rules by extroverts.
Become one!
Lie 10:
If you have free time, you are wasting your life.
You should not have any free time.
Every minute should be productive.
Every second needs to be spent.
Lie 11:
People who are rich are cheaters.
They sold their soul.
They took shortcuts.
They betrayed, lied, bribed, and mistreated.
Getting rich means you stepped on someone's else right to exist.
Lie 12:
If people do not fear you, they will never respect you.
Build fear.
Fear at work.
Fear at home.
Fear of reprimand.
Fear of ridicule.
Fear of abandonment.
Fear is the way the world works.
Lie 13:
If you do not have something smart to say, don't open your mouth.
Ask for permission.
Question whether you really need to ask that?
At the risk of coming across as dumb.
Lie 14:
Always have a plan.
ALWAYS!
If plan A doesn't work, then plan B.
If plan B doesn't work, then plan C.
Always have a plan.
If you don't have one, you are never going to make it.
Lie 15:
Read as many books as you can.
There is so much to read.
Read fast.
Read multiple.
Listen to books if you can't read.
Finish that god damn book, will you!
And fast!
Lie 16:
Fake it till you make it.
The world loves to see perfection.
The world doesn't like imperfect people, imperfect bodies, imperfect actions, imperfect trajectories.
Hide your mistakes.
Show your wins.
Only your wins.
And if you don't have, show you have them!
Lie 17:
If you are in your late 20s or 30s or 40s and still confused with what you should do in life, you are a disgrace.
Life's only purpose is to, as quickly as possible, know what you want from life.
Lie 18:
As a fresher, you do not have hope in hell of getting noticed.
Just work, don't ask questions, don't challenge, say yes to your boss, don't try to be too friendly.
The key is to stick around.
And lay low.
Lie 19:
Find your tribe.
People who think like you, act like you, come from the same background as you and have had the same experiences as you.
That is where you belong.
With people who are like you.
Lie 20:
If you don't lie, don't steal, don't hurt, don't kill, don't cheat, don't drink, don't smoke, don't party
good things will happen to you
Because destiny is good to those who are good
I recall as a kid being curious and constantly asking my parents questions
"What will happen if I get a job?"
"Why are we there on this planet?"
"What happens when we die?"

They didn't have the answers.
Nor did the world have the answers, when a lot of us asked the same questions.

So the world came up with rules.
Prescriptions.
A way of doing things.
Which soon became, the right way and the wrong way.
The right ways were celebrated. The wrong ways became a taboo.
And over years, people stopped asking why.
Why is that right?
Why is that wrong?

I have found most of my progress hidden in the answers to these 2 questions

Because I have found, nothing is as right or as wrong as people make it to be.
Everything around you that you call life was made up by people that were no smarter than you and you can change it, you can influence it, you can build your own things that other people can use.

Once you learn that, you'll never be the same again.
