7 Effective Ways to Overcome Procrastination:

 1. Figure Out Why You Procrastinate

You’ll never know what to fix if you don’t know what’s broken.

Why are you delaying that task? Ask yourself:

- Is it tough?

- Do you find it boring?

- Or just simply complicated?

- Do you feel too overwhelmed by it?

2) Initiate

Suppose you wanted to start to build the habit of reading books but you’re always delaying it, so you never actually start doing it.

To overcome this convince yourself that for just 5min everyday you're going to read & if you don’t like it, you will close that book.

3) Make a To-do list

To overcome procrastination, one of the best ideas is to prepare a list of all the things you want to accomplish with their deadlines.

At the beginning of the day, start by doing the toughest task on your list.

4) Find inspiring people

The best way to get an instant boost is by learning from the already successful ones.

Find and be around people with positive attitudes who can inspire you to be better and more productive.

5) Get rid of Your Excuses

Stop lying to yourself about starting your work later in the day, or tomorrow.

Take your equipment and just start your work.

6) Exercise

Exercising releases stress hormones so you will suffer from lower negative emotions.

This will make you happier, more energetic and boost your productivity.

7) Reward Yourself

Give yourself treats whenever you finish something big (or even minor). Perhaps a cookie or a sip of your favorite drink.

Reward every achievement.
