5 simple steps to keep your mind sharp:







 1. Keep learning

Challenging your brain with mental exercise will activate brain cells and stimulate communication among them.

Many people have jobs that keep them mentally active. 

- pursuing a hobby

- learning a new skill

- volunteering for social work 

- reading a book

2. Eat healthily 

Eating diverse fruits, veggies, healthy carbs and fats is essential for brain health.

Here’s how to make eating healthy convenient even if you have a busy schedule:

• Meal prep on Sundays

• Keep healthy snacks around

• Order healthy groceries online

3. Sleep 

Sleep is critical for your mind.

Having trouble sleeping?

Try:

• Journaling

• Taking a hot bath

• Keeping your bedroom dark

• Turning off screens 1hr before bed

4. Repeat what you want to remember 

When you want to remember something repeat it out loud or write it down. 

That way, you reinforce the memory connection.


5. Space it out

Repetition is most potent as a learning tool when it's properly timed. 

It's best not to repeat something many times in a short period, as if you were cramming for an exam.

Instead, re-study the essentials after increasingly more extended periods.
